America, Why do you love or hate the great United States of America? :)?

Im American, and i love my country. especially for its military. All of our freedom and all. but what i don't understand is why other countries hate us so much. but are so quick to flock they behinds over here in time of desperation. I thought we did some good in the world. personally i think it makes the world go round. so anyone, even if you hate the US tell me why you hate the US so bad and why you love the US. and what is so good about the US.
