How do you get out of Asteroid X57 in the first M Effect game?

I bought the platinum M Effect xbox version which came with the "Bring Down the Sky" dlc. I installed the content before starting the game. I'm in the middle of the campaign and I played the "Bring Down the Sky" dlc. Once I finished this dlc mission, I was unable to go back on the ship and continue with the rest of the campaign. Is there a way to continue with the campaign?
