Wouldn't it have been more apporpriate for Thomas Jones to sign with the Chargers instead of the Chiefs?

Yeah, I suppose. However, the Chiefs need a RB much more than the Chargers do, considering SD runs a West Coast Offense. Thomas Jones went to a team that will most likely use him much more. SD signing Jones would be a waste of money, considering they would barely use him under Norv Turner's scheme. KC, however, could really use Jones as a good compliment to Matt Cel, because of their true lack and need of a RB.
